SBA OIG: FY 2015 Risk Assessment of SBA Charge Card Programs

Pursuit's Take

For FY 2015 (October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015), SBA’s 179 active purchase card holders spent a total of $4.6 million. Among other issues with the charge card program, OIG determined that the purchase card program coordinator did not maintain up-to-date records of cardholders and approving officials. For example, the official records omitted cardholders and/or included cardholders or approving officials who had left the Agency.
