The Department of Veterans Affairs was created to provide a variety of benefits to Americans who have served in the military, ranging from health care, disability payments, education benefits, job training, and many others. Recent reports of veterans receiving inadequate care or no care at all shows that no matter how much money goes to an agency, good leadership is vital. The VA system has structural issues and should be reformed to fit the needs of veterans and their families.
